About Our Company

Our Mission

HealthBridge was founded to meet a growing need in a rapidly evolving world of work: timely, expert, and accessible occupational health support without the bureaucracy, delays, or rigid structures often associated with traditional services.


In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the workplace has changed dramatically. Remote working, digital healthcare, and the demand for faster, more flexible support have redefined expectations.


We recognised a clear gap: individuals and employers needing swift, clinically sound occupational health advice, especially in non-safety-critical roles, without being held back by long NHS waiting times or the logistical challenges of face-to-face clinics. HealthBridge bridges that gap.  We offer:

The Founder

Dr. James Stanley (GMC 7285162) is a UK-trained General Practitioner with over 13 years of experience delivering high-quality care across NHS and private healthcare sectors. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles in GP partnerships, driven clinical innovation in new service areas such as medical aesthetics, and developed a strong track record in occupational health work within both primary care and private practice.


Having seen the inefficiencies and frustrations that often accompany return-to-work processes, Dr. Stanley founded HealthBridge to offer a smarter, more human alternative. His aim is to simplify and streamline occupational health services, without compromising clinical rigour or compassion.


With deep insight into both the medical and operational challenges of workplace health, he brings a uniquely balanced perspective. Whether he's supporting an HR department managing complex employee cases or helping individuals navigate their way back to work, his approach is forward-thinking, clinically robust, and rooted in real-world experience.

One Off-Services

Ideal for ad-hoc referrals or when a quick, independent occupational health opinion is needed. All reviews are GP-led and delivered remotely, with fast turnaround times.

All occupational health assessments are conducted remotely by a fully GMC-registered General Practitioner. These services are intended for occupational health use only and do not replace routine NHS or private medical care. HealthBridge is fully indemnified for all services provided.

 The employer, employee, or both can complete the referral form, depending on the context (e.g. employer-led fitness-to-work, or individual-led reports). The employee must complete and sign the consent form before we proceed.

 Once we receive the completed referral form and consent, we begin processing your request.
If clinical records are required, the employee is responsible for requesting and forwarding their GP records directly to us. We will guide them on how to do this if needed.

 We will schedule a confidential video consultation at a time that suits the individual. All consultations are conducted using secure, GDPR-compliant video platforms.

 Payment is required prior to the consultation, and pricing will be confirmed during the initial contact stage. For businesses, invoicing can be arranged.

  We issue a clinically robust, clearly written occupational health report tailored to your needs.
It will include medical opinion, any relevant recommendations or adjustments, and fitness-for-work advice. 


Standard reports are delivered within 5 working days of the consultation. Priority or fast-track options are available on request.

All remote consultations are conducted via secure, GDPR-compliant platforms. Patients must provide informed consent for assessment and the release of any medical information.


Employers are responsible for implementing workplace decisions based on our clinical recommendations. HealthBridge does not accept liability for actions taken by third parties on the basis of our reports.


Please note: Remote assessments have limitations. Cases involving significant complexity or safety-critical roles may require a face-to-face occupational health review or additional supporting evidence. Where appropriate, we will advise if further assessment is necessary to ensure safe and responsible decision-making.
